About the Directors

John Trevillyan

MEd (Admin) (Deakin), Grad Dip Ed (Melbourne), DipBusStud (Acc) (RMIT)

As a Director at Negotiation Education Australia, John brings with him tremendous depth and breadth to the development, direction and facilitation of negotiation and decision making courses.

With over 20 years at Mt Eliza Executive Education (Melbourne Business School), John has an outstanding knowledge of educational methodologies and approaches. He has developed innovative programs for clients, using a range of paper based and e-learning technologies. John designs programs to achieve learning and operational outcomes for all levels of management, and is comfortable working with both senior executives and frontline leaders.

He has developed and directed best practice negotiation and decision making programs in Australia, USA the UK and the Asia-Pacific for organisations including Esso, the National Australia Bank, Bunnings, Honda and the Australian Stock Exchange. His areas of research and development include negotiating and influencing, learning technologies and performance management.

At Mt Eliza Executive Education (Melbourne Business School), John was Program Director for the popular Senior Managers Program. John is also a principal at Possibilities, working with Lisa to provide executive education for turbulent times.

Lisa Barrand

As Director, Negotiation Education Australia, Lisa uses her teaching and negotiation talent for developing stakeholder engagement capability within both private and public sector organisations. She also works on projects requiring diverse parties to collaborate on challenging projects. This has included work for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council and the Department of Environment and Heritage. Lisa is currently the independent Chairperson for the Holcim Pakenham Environment Review Committee.

Lisa is a passionate educator. For the past 20 years, Lisa has worked in the area of strategy and negotiation; designing and leading programs for Mt Eliza Executive Education (Melbourne Business School) where past clients include Fresenius Kabi, AXA, Commlife Indonesia, Colorado, Nike Australia, Simplot and Orica.

Her work currently takes her to Singapore, Jakarta and Mumbai.

Lisa’s areas of interest include negotiation, strategy execution and strategic performance systems. Her focus is on supporting organisations to make things happen, not just talk about them.

At Mt Eliza Executive Education (Melbourne Business School), Lisa was the lead designer and Program Director for the Emerging Managers Program.

Lisa is also is Director at Possibilities, a leading provider of executive education services.
